Presentation of The Commercial Experts’ Bar of Milan
OUTLINE
The Commercial Experts’ Bar of Milan has about 8000 members. All its Experts have strongly contributed to the growth of the small and medium-sized enterprises and to the development of the Milan area economy. The profession of the “Commercial Expert” has established itself in Italy and is unique in its kind in the international scenery; both the more developed nations and the developing countries look at it with great attention. The profession has deeply evolved over the years: beside the economic, fiscal, financial and accounting competences, also other expertise are now object of the professional activity: administration and winding up of companies and private properties of individuals, contractual advice, auditing in companies and no profit organizations.Within its institutional duties the Commercial Experts’ Bar of Milan:
- keeps the Experts’ Register updated, verifying the eligibility of the applicants, the possession of the requirements and checks out eventual incompatibilities;
- carries out disciplinary sanctions against colleagues who have disregarded the rules of professional ethics and law;
- controls and liquidates the fees, releasing technical estimation on their correctness;
- organizes free training events following the rules approved by the National Council.
In addition, the Commercial Experts’ Bar of Milan interacts and maintains constant relationships with the most important institutions of the city, like the Milan Court of Law, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Civil and Bankruptcy Division, the Voluntary Jurisdiction, the Chamber of Commerce, the Lombardy General Directorate of Revenue, the academic world, the over 140 professional branches in Italy, the representatives of the financial administration, the local institutions, the syndicates and the consumers associations.
THE GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE
The electoral Assembly of the Members appoints the Board, which lasts 4 years.The Board of Commercial Experts of Milan is formed by 15 members. The President Committee is composed by a President, a Vice President, a Secretary and a Treasurer. There is also the Board of Auditors composed by a President and two members supervising the current activities. The actual Board of Commercial Experts and Board of Auditors will stay in office until December 31, 2012. Its members are:
